Sixteen-year-old Katrina Ricks, aka “Trina”, hails from Washington, DC’s most notorious and rugged projects. While experiencing the stark of poverty, she also endures the molestation at the hands of her stepfather, while her mother works the night shift. Eventually, fear leads to the murder of her stepdad at the hands of a tormented Trina.
Her past history of sexual abuse causes her not to trust men and leads her into an illustrious lesbian affair with her school teacher, Ms. Carlin. Unbeknownst to her, Ms. Carlin’s druglord boyfriend, “Lil Mo” Gentry doesn’t condone same-sex philandering and promises death to both women.
Life altering changes continue as she grows steadily in the drug game. Making underworld connections with some of the District’s most feared thugs, negotiating deals with major traffickers from the west coast to the east coast. Netting millions in profits for her superiors bring a come up for Trina. Unfortunately, life changing events occur before she lands a major score. To make matters worse, the new drug kingpin sets sights on the fertile drug market in Trina’s old neighborhood, declaring all-out street war. Chocolate City undergoes a major transition as the reign of power switches hands. There will never be a dull moment in Capital City ever again.
