Meesha Clark, a gorgeous young wife, mother, and budding fashion designer, is forced to ask herself that very question when what she thought would be a routine prenatal checkup turns out to be anything but routine…

Meesha meets the man she wants to devote her entire life to while she’s still in high school…. Falling in love with Boss, though, is the easy part; staying in love will prove to be a much harder task. When Meesha discovers that her heart’s desire is not only a well-connected gangster, but is also next in line to head the mob that controls the entire city of St. Louis, she must make the most difficult decision of her entire young life. When she decides to stand by her man, it becomes painfully clear that, even though she’s the only woman in his heart, she’s not the only woman in his bed…

Malcolm “Boss” Clark knows better than to fall for a girl almost ten years younger than him. He’s a man, and Meesha is just a girl, but there’s something about her that won’t let Boss walk away. Their relationship moves fast and burns hot, much like the city they call home. In the blink of an eye, they find themselves dangerously in love with two small daughters and their first son on the way. The love soon turns to hate, though, when Meesha’s doctor breaks the news to her that she’s HIV-positive. Certain that Boss contracted the virus from one of his numerous affairs, an emotionally distraught Meesha locks herself in a bathroom with her husband, then proceeds to point his own gun in his face and demand answers – but will the truth set her free, or just keep her bound…?

He has graduated from college, landed a job, purchased a home, and has a beautiful girlfriend named Toi. And he did it all the legal way. Chance is nothing like his homeboy, Calhoun, a drug-selling deadbeat who won’t get his life together, not even for his two kids.

Chance’s life changes in an instant when he is falsely accused of murder and sent to prison. He loses everything–his job, his home, his girlfriend, his mother, and almost his mind. A victim of a cover-up and a corrupt prison system, Chance is subjected to attacks by prison guards and inmates, sexual abuse, and too many run-ins with death to count.

The only good thing in Chance’s world is his pen pal, Deyja, who is dealing with her own painful past. He looks forward to her mail, and finds himself falling in love. When he is released from prison after seven years, he finds Deyja, but he does not reveal his true identity, for fear that she will want no part of an ex-convict. Unaware that he is her former pen pal, Deyja is falling for this thug whose touch and lovemaking she just can’t get enough of.

When old friends Toi and Calhoun come back into the picture, explosive secrets are revealed, threatening to tear apart everything. Will Chance and Deyja move forward together, or will the past destroy them?

With Midnight and The Meaning of Love, Souljah brings to her millions of fans an adventure about young, deep love, the ways in which people across the world express their love, and the lengths that they will go to have it.

Powerful and sensual, Midnight is an intelligent, fierce fighter and Ninjutsu-trained ninja warrior. He attracts attention wherever he goes but remains unmoved by it and focuses on protecting his mother and sister and regaining his family’s fortunes. When Midnight, a devout Muslim, takes sixteen-year-old Akemi from Japan as his wife, they look forward to building a life together, but their tumultuous teenage marriage is interrupted when Akemi is kidnapped and taken back to Japan by her own father, even though the marriage was consummated and well underway.

“There’s not one drop of inferiority in my blood,” Midnight says as he first secures his mother, Umma, and sister, Naja, before setting off on a global journey to reclaim his wife. Midnight must travel across three countries and numerous cultures in his attempt to defeat his opponent. Along this magnificent journey he meets people who change him forever, even as he changes them. He encounters temptations he never would have imagined and takes risks that many a lesser man would say no to, all for the women he loves and is sworn to protect.

This humorous tale of love and triumph ties two unlikely suitors together in a merry mix of plotting and gossip. On one side is R&B superstar, Jamaica, and on the other is the passionate, but impoverished Tameer. When the two are brought together in what is meant to be a temporary relationship — arranged by Jamaica’s best friend and personal assistant LaChina — both are surprised when true feelings burst onto the scene and disrupt everyone’s plans.

With Tameer’s drunken father, Jamaica’s socialite mother, and a band of super-ghetto, meddling friends all blended together, Two Thin Dimes becomes a hilarious, topsy-turvy fight for love in a world gone mad.

Going beyond the simple rich girl, poor boy tale, Caleb Alexander brings his popular style to a whole new level and draws his growing audience along with him as the story takes on social class, unexpected romance, loyalty to friends, and — most importantly — the cost of true love.

Anxious to prove she can do more than just fluff stories, Carmen begins her own investigation into the victim s past, and quickly finds that there is more to the case than just rough sex gone wrong. Bonded by the absences of their fathers, he and his brother befriend a group of boys from the neighborhood and form an un-breakable bond, vowing not to travel down the same road as their dads, making a pact to stay in school and out of the streets. Kamil also takes you through his personal experience with the opposite sex, as a childhood crush develops into something much more. As this story un-folds, walk with Kamil as he transitions from childhood to teen into young adulthood and struggles with the very things his mother walked away from and tried so hard to prevent he and his brother from embracing. What starts out as a game and a means of survival. Ultimately ends up serious and addictive. This is the memoir of an Accidental Hustler.

Meet the female Nino Brown and Gee Money, only these two really are their sisters keeper. New Brunswick New Jersey native Heavenly Jacobs inherited her beauty and street smarts honestly from her parents gene pool. After an uneventful tragedy strikes her home her only means of survival is to rely on them both. Her choice to ride for the wrong man ultimately lands her in prison where she decides to re-strategize her game plan for when she’s released. Eartha Davis is not your average female. Her eyes as well as her body were exposed to more then they were ready for at a young age. Between her mother, a bonafide gangster who sexual preference was women, and the streets of Plainfield New Jersey, it was hard for her not to fall victim to and embrace all that was going on around her. Her new found love for the streets, violence and females all contributed to her imprisonment in Edna Mahan Correctional Facility in Clinton New Jersey. As fate would have it, these two females are thrown together and form an unbreakable bond which spills over into the streets. Seeing how everyone got fat while they were behind the prison wall starving, they put together a team of female hustlers that got men in the game on edge. Jealousy, envy, ego’s and pride all come into play unraveling a beef between the opposite sex for Supremacy. Will the brothers sustain? Or will they succumb to the wrath of Heaven & Earth?

Ashley and JaQuavis bring us this classic love story set against modern life’s most horrifying realities.

Liberty is dying of a fatal heart condition, though she desperately wants to survive until her 25th birthday when her sister has promised to visit her. A’shai blames himself for not protecting Liberty, but all Liberty asks is for A’shai to tell her a story, to help her remember what brought them to this point. He knows that this is the last story he will ever tell and the last she will ever hear.

As Liberty lies dying, A’shai walks her though their past, reliving their ill-fated journeys through the streets. Their story will take them from an arranged marriage, through Mexico’s drug cartel, child brothels, hustling in Detroit, to escaping the high-powered heads of L.A.’s underworld. But ultimately, this is a story of love and redemption that will leave you breathless from the unpredictable and mind-blowing ending.

Aaliyah Mills Carter was born into street royalty. Her mother, Precious, hustled her way from a project chick to a hood legend. Then she has two fathers, Xavier Mills, who is a rap superstar turned industry mogul and Nico Carter who heads up a lucrative drug empire with his partner Genesis. Finally, she has a grandfather Quentin, who spoils her the way he was never able to do for his daughter Precious. You would think being anointed the Princess would be enough for Aaliyah but it s not she wants more. Instead of simply relishing in the luxury she was born into, Aaliyah schemes and manipulates, determined to carve out her own lane. She brings her best friends Amir and Justina along for the ride. Does Aaliyah have the same street savvy as her mother to lead them to the top or will it end in disaster? There is only one Precious Cummings but has her daughter Aaliyah been groomed to take over the reign or will her mother have to step in and save her from herself?
