But when a tape recording of a man’s death surfaces that may involve WMM, Atlanta homicide detective Danny Houser realizes that he may actually have the smoking gun needed to go after the firm. All he needs is someone inside WMM to sniff out the company’s secrets. Soon he sets his sights on Alexis Greenspan, aka Nina Coles, the telemarketer’s top sales associate. Approaching retirement, Houser will do everything in his power to manipulate Coles and solve this one last case…no matter who gets hurt in the process.

Tasha and her ex-baller husband, Trae, have put New York – and its bad-news drama – far behind them. But going legitimate doesn’t come for free. Trae can’t resist falling for his beautiful new lawyer Charli, who can’t wait to meet her million-dollar-plus client between the sheets. Trae’s best friend Marvin starts running drugs out of the club, attracting deadly attention from the cops and two powerful mobs. And fresh-out-of-lockdown thug Kyron figures sexing Tasha is the fastest way to launch a takeover of the drug game on both coasts. Now Tasha and Trae must work every street move they’ve ever learned and settle dangerous new scores – even if it brings their carefully planned world crashing down.

Shan likes to make his own money by working for a living at a men’s prison – and prefers Sean John, Baby Phat, and Fubu to Jimmy Choo. Still, despite appearances, Shan and B are sisters where it counts – or so they think…

For B, lying is part of the hustle, and the hustle is what gets her sex, clothes, cars – pretty much whatever she wants. She couldn’t care less who gets hurt along the way, as long as it isn’t her. But it’s one thing to hustle tricks, and quite another to betray the one person who really cares. When one of B’s schemes goes too far, blood is spilled – and Shan is caught in the crossfire. Now, with friendship and lives on the line, Brianna’s got one last chance to change her ways – or suffer the consequences…

Now Shan is making her move, far away from Memphis’s mean streets, to wipe the slate clean and start over. But she can’t hold back what she’s feeling for Briggen, a wealthy drug dealer who wants her to be his one and only for life. Her brother, Peanut, can’t afford to lose her – or the one shot he has at getting back on top of the drug game. And the ruthless convict who tricked Shan into loving him is out of lockdown…and out to settle lethal scores with her and peanut. Now, with everything at stake and a vicious turf war taking no prisoners, Shan must put it all on the line to save her future – or die trying.

She doesn’t need to make a U-turn back to the ghetto. But then she meets Trae, who’s still after the bling bling and fast money of drugs. He’s hard, hot, irresistible – and trouble.

Soon Roz is wild for a brother whose world is filled with dark schemes and deadly desires. But blinded by her passion, she can’t see the heartbreak ahead where the ‘hood has a law of its own – and its own brand of revenge.

But away from school, she’s the feisty girlfriend of Snake, the city’s most brutal pimp.

Kyra, an aspiring psychologist is also going to school to get herself out of the ghetto. But she’s continually pulled back into the life by the two drug dealing men she loves, Ty and Marvin.

Jaz is pursuing a degree in chemistry, and kickin’ it with Faheen, a liquor store owner, with a profitable counterfeiting business on the side and a terrible jealous streak. When her business gets her into trouble, Faheem is the only one who can help her out.

Thugs and the Women Who Love Them is a fast paced ghetto drama that will keep you hooked from the very first chapter. Wahida brings us into a world of crime through sex, drugs, high-paid hustling and brutality, all the more real because she lived in it.
