Still in love with his son’s mother, America, he wants nothing more than for them to become a family and move on from his past. But while Soul was in prison, America’s music career started blowing up and she became entangled in a rocky relationship with a new man, Kendall. Kendall is determined to keep his woman by his side, and America finds herself caught in a tug of war between the two men. Soul turns his attention to battling the street life that landed him in jail, setting up a drug program to rid the community of its tortuous meth problem, but will Soul’s efforts cross his former best friend, the murderous drug kingpin Omega?

His friend Tyriq is a big time drug dealer and willing to sponsor him into a drug cartel. Vincent is reluctant, but his baby mama is nagging and bills are piling up. Hustling is the way. But his long-time friend (and an experienced hustler) Spoon is against Vincent getting down. Vincent ignores Spoon’s advice and joins Tyriq. Vincent quickly starts stacking major figures. The expensive cars, jewelry and fast women prove addictive. What he craves could be his downfall. The higher he climbs, the more envy he encounters. Vincent is caught in a costly, ugly and vicious war. Younger soldiers are ready to kill in order to rise. Does Vincent have what it takes to succeed at this most ruthless, dirty game?

Streets of New York Volume 3 finds the neighborhood reeling from the pain of losing a son and brother to gang violence, yet still, the mayhem continues. The lives of best friends hang in the balance. Regrets abound, but suspicions linger. Bonds are tested and covers blown. Those not from the streets must watch their backs or risk the wrath of street justice. As the novel races to a dramatic close, the fate of an entire family is up in the air. Coauthored by hip-hop lit heavyweights Erick Gray, Mark Anthony, and Anthony Whyte, and with a powerful forward by Treasure Blue, the “Uncle of Urban Lit,” Streets of New York Volume 3 is a satisfying finale to an action-packed unforgettable saga.

Gray and Mark Anthony with devastating foreward aptly delivered by K’wan. A year later Promise tries to pull farther away from the gangsta life, but the streets keep calling. Squeeze and Show are making out like bandits with a nightclub they now operate in Brooklyn, called the Brooklyn café. Grindin’s in the streets is no longer an option but this legal hustle still requires street muscles and trouble follow the pair like heat on a hot, sunny day. The hustle of the streets is brought to the club scene with the same energy. Promise is envious and returns to claim what he believes he’s owed. This sets off a divide amongst the gang. It’s a rift so wide that a war amongst partners is set-off, leaving participants reeling and grieving with deadly losses. Find out how it all unfolds in the Streets of New York Volume II.

They are modern day gangstas who take the law into their own hands by helping rid the neighborhood of derelicts; they jack drug dealers, pimps and their hos’. Is that enough to satisfy their appetite or do they enjoy the hunt of the sport? Robbery, jooksing and jacking are the specialty of their trade and the gang is successful at doing what they do best. But when is enough, enough? Streets of New York Volume 1 is a Hip Hop urbanthology created by Hip Hop fiction’s best authors, Erick S. Gray, Mark Anthony and Anthony Whyte with a brutally honest forward by Shannon Holmes.

Take a look at the lives of some street-smart women who will learn what living the fast-paced life can mean in the end if you’re not careful.

What if you were raised to be a hooker and worst of all, your father was your pimp? In “Keepin’ It in the Family,” this isn’t just a nightmare for the Collins daughters, this is reality. Raised without the guidance of their mother, Diamond, Essence and Chanel were forced onto the streets at a very young age. They were expected to make that money by any means necessary, or face the wrath of their daddy, Dallas Collins. Can the girls band together in order to free themselves from Dallas?

In “Pound Cake,” we bring you to Coney Island, where four friends deal with daily life in one of the most deadly parts of the borough. Pound Cake, a beautiful yet fiery nineteen-year-old, is the leader of the pack. People in the streets know not to mess with Pound Cake or her homegirls. So when a local hustler named Winter impregnates and then abuses Minnie, the youngest in the group, pound cake won’t stand for it. She is going to find a way to make him pay.

“So Seductive” introduces you to the world of Cinnamon and Simonne. Best friends since childhood, they are every man’s fantasy and they know it. They love to play with men and get whatever they want from them. But when one of their night’s escapades turns violent, will the girls change, or will they fall prey to the unforgiving Brooklyn streets?

Sisters River and Starr flee their abusive home and their drug-addicted mother when they are only teenagers. And on the cold, hard streets they lose sight of each other as they find their own hustles in order to survive.

Beautiful River joins a stick-up-crew, but she doesn’t know that Big Red and Twinkie have a secret that she’s not in on. When she falls in love with Eric, one of their victims, all she wants is to find her baby sister and settle down with her new love. But River soon becomes a prisoner in her dangerous world. And escaping may cost her more than her life.

By the time she turns sixteen, Starr is working for a pimp and turning tricks daily. But when an assault by one of her “dates” lands her in the hospital, Starr meets a woman who wants to help her change her life. Starr’s heart is too hardened to believe in second chances, but she soon begins to long for something more than selling her body just to survive. However, the game does not give up its players so easily.

Enter Eric’s cousin Yung Slim, fresh out of jail after seven years. He’s looking to reclaim the streets, and take care of some old grudges. When Yung Slim goes to battle, Eric is torn between his love for River, his ties to his cousin, and the lure of the streets – and gets in too deep. When war breaks out on the battlefield of the streets, who will be left standing?

Where I’m from, South Jamaica Queens, making the wrong choices in life can actually make you feel like you made all the right moves; especially when you’re driving around in the high-end cars, spending money like it’s water, and sporting the latest trends and fashions.

Since I was thirteen I’ve been hustling and running the streets. My theory in life is “the more money you hold, the more respect you get.” But unfortunately, my lavish lifestyle came to an end, and I ended up doing a bid upstate. As a man, I should have learned from my mistakes and done right with my life. But the thing is, I got the devil, disguised as my best friend Kinko, addressing me in one year, and then I got my family and my girl preaching to me in the other ear.

Coming home from jail and trying to do right – it ain’t easy, because you’re used to the money, the power, and the respect.
