Carmen is an entertainment reporter for a local television station, who wants to do bigger things. Her opportunity comes while she is covering the opening of an art exhibition. A woman is found murdered, and Carmen is the only reporter on the scene. The police say that the victim, a known call girl named Tangela House appears to have been strangled during sex. Anxious to prove she can do more than just fluff stories, Carmen begins her own investigation into the victim s past, and quickly finds that there is more to the case than just rough sex gone wrong. Now with the help of Mike Black, Carmen must stay alive long enough to uncover what secrets lay beneath the surface.

It seems like old times, but Black knows it’s time to get out of the game before he loses somebody else close to him. He hasn’t taken his eye off the man he believes arranged the murder of his wife. His sleepless nights can only end when everybody involved in her death suffers the same fate. Black reflects on the key events in his life and how those decisions have shaped and changed him, and he contemplates getting out of the game.

The police say that the death of Tatiana Phillips was just part of a robbery gone wrong, probably drug-related. End of story. Whether of not that’s true, the Phillips family still wants to know who killed her. As a favor to the family, Nick Simmons agrees to look into the senseless murder. His investigation leads him to Lorraine Robinson, a ride-or-die chick who’s involved in a little bit of everything… and it’s all bad.

Mike Black has it all; money, power, and everyone’s respect. His violent rise to power earned him the name Vicious Black. Although he has everything he ever wanted, none of it seems to matter. He becomes enchanted with Cassandra Sims. To her, selling drugs is strictly business, never personal. When an attempt is made on her life, Mike rescues her and becomes her protector. On the trail of her attacker, their relationship develops with an intriguing journey through Washington, DC, Miami Beach and the Bahamas in the backdrop. The pursuit leads them back to New York City where all the pieces to the puzzle come together. “Is It A Crime” creates an exciting blend of danger, mystery, and passion and turns powerful elements into an explosive tale. This story does more than move; it gyrates. The reader is taken to emotional heights rarely accomplished. It is a must read.

Who says crime doesn’t pay? Because it sure does for Travis Burns. He’s the leader of a well organized robbing crew known as MOB and he and his crew are livin’ the good life. MOB targets: banks, grocery stores, jewelry stores, and anything else they can hit quick and come away with a large return on their investment of time. They are all college graduates who are always prepared, and extremely disciplined. In another life, another time, this would have been their last career choice. Each set with their own personal axe to grind with system. They are not the most successful criminals in the underworld. They dress down, don’t associate with anything that will attract the attention of the police and haters. Operating under the protection of Mike Black’s (Outlaw) criminal organization, Travis and his crew, Jackie Washington, and Ronnie Grier live by rules that have earned them a small fortune, but all of that changes for Travis when he meets Me’shelle Lawrence. Now he must choose between his love for Me’shelle and his loyalty to his crew.

Around the Way Girls 4 is a look at the life of some street-smart women who think they have the world in the palm of their hands, but are about to find out that things aren’t always what they seem.

For talented artist Jovia Grant, life has gone from one extreme to the other. Being raised by a single mother living in a lavish home, her much needed break from home comes when she is accepted into a summer art program where she rediscovers old friends and meets a few new ones. Essence Bestselling Author La Jill Hunt brings the drama in Thug Passion as these two worlds collide and her family discovers she’s been learning more than art.

Once again, Dwayne S. Johnson weaves a dramatic tale of love and betrayal in All for Love. After the turmoil she’d suffered in her twenty years. Rayne is thankful for the safety and companionship given to her by her boo, Love. Unfortunately for Rayne, the drama and heartache are about to come back in her life in a major way, when she finds out she is pregnant with Quincy’s baby.

For Jada West it was All About the Money. From dancing at the best club, to becoming the city’s top Madame, whatever it took to make piles of paper, that’s what she was about. In this tale of power and money, Roy Glenn brings a different flavor to this around the way girl as Jada discovers that in the end, there is something more important than money.
